~Abundant gardens & exercise~

Everyone's garden is beginning to overflow! In the last few days, I've been given big bags of spinich, cherries, apricots, & rhubarb! (All but the cherries are organic, too!) & have been told there's lots more where that came from! So I've cleaned out my freezer, & am making room to FILL it for the fall, & will also keep eating it fresh as long as it's available!

Guess what? The lady who took my treadmill when i posted it on Freecycle re-posted it, she wasn't using it much, so i decided to get it back, until i can get an electric one. I've cleared an area by the window, & on the days i don't get out to walk, I'm going to use it for at least half an hour a day, (though with resting in between, but as short of a rest as possible!), & I'm going to begin doing it early in the day, getting up & dressed & with shoes on (my pet peeve) & then doing some rebounding & working with my weights, & stretching...
...BEFORE i let myself check my e-mails!

So my commitment is to exercise one hour a day, no matter how long that hour takes to accomplish! I know it made a huge difference last time i went raw to accelate the weight loss & detox, especially when i got to sweating more! It's something I've been struggling with doing consistantly, but i know it has to be daily for me not to lose my momentum, at least at first. I've been thinking about this for a few days, as I've been exercising more, but still sporatically... ...& noticing that, on the days i do exercise, I'm on my feet more through the rest of the day, sleep better, & have less pain.

How I wish we had a big organic garden so i could combine exercise & growing produce every day, outside in the sunshine! One day...

...In the meantime, I have generous gardening friends who support me in my quest for health, & that's a HUGE blessing! {Thanks, God!}
