Why do we always get tested on the decisions we make? I committed yesterday to not discussing the possibility of my having MS from a medical perspective, & of course then get a phone call from someone who only sees health from the medical model. But I stood my ground, shared my faith that God's given my body the ability to heal itself if i give it the right fuel, & refused to discuss the {medical} world's perspective on MS. Tried to be gracious for their concern, but it was a short conversation.
I find it so sad that, though Dr.'s know so much about the body, they know so little about how to keep it functioning optimally, & how to return it to health without toxic drugs & surgery. Imagine what the world would be like if every Dr. knew the truth about nutrition & shared it FIRST!
I've decided today that, not only will i not go in for the further testing they want to do, but I'm not even going to go into my Dr's this week. I see no point. Instead, I'm beginning "layered fasting".
What is layered fasting, you ask? Glad you asked! It's fasting in layers! Lol!
First, I'm going to do green smoothies until I run our of produce (a few days from now)...then, I'll do water fasting for aproximately 10 days (until i have grocery $ again) then, juice fasting until my body tells me to change, then another smoothie fast, preparing to move towards a longer water fast.
I'll basically just be taking it one day at a time, alternating as I'm led, & as God provides. I plan on doing this for a long while, until God or my body says 'enough'....then I'll be 100% raw, & begin using the supplements that have helped others with MS.
{I'll be researching them, & getting the $ together to get them while i do the fasting...}
I did a lot of reading last night about the benefits of fasting for healing & detox, {which i knew before, but needed to refresh my memory.} & spent a lot of time at this site: http://www.freedomyou.com/
I have also been so inspired by valerie's green smoothie experiment
http://www.greensmoothieexperiment.blogspot.com/
& her recent 100lb weight loss in 124 days! I'm not sure i could go that route, but know there are many benefits to all the different ways to 'fast' {& yes, I realize that, technically, only total abstinance from food is fasting, but for lack of a better word...oh, yea, juice FEASTING! & i guess green smoothie feasting is a good name, too!}
So here i go, off on a healing adventure! Today I'm finishing off the grapes & mango, then having only smoothies & from tomorrow on, 100% smoothies for awhile.
And I'm staying 100% raw from now on, no matter what! I know it's what i need!
