~A Raw Feast For Shanny!~

This morning was so fun, I woke early & prepared a raw feast for my friend Shannon (sister, friend, raw food coach, great blessing to my life!) for her drive to the coast~
It was so cool, as I was making a lunch for her & her travel companion, I got to daydreaming about when I'm finally driving again, taking road trips with Hannah, rising early like my mom used to, to prepare yummy healthy food, to avoid the cost & yucky experience of roadside diners!
My brother's coming over tomorrow, we're going to pick up a bed I got off freecycling, so I have a LOT of work to do to make room for it! I did plan on getting a LOT of housework done today, I guess it'll just be in a different room than planned!

Can't WEIGHT until he comes over & says, "WOW! you're lookin' GOOD!!!" he's been concerned about my weight & health for 4 years, sinse I moved back here & we re-connected...he's very fitness conscious~ We've stopped discussing it cuz I've made little progress...but NOT FOR LONG!
Tried to eat my bowl of berries with just a tiny bit of my (old) favorite organic Stonebrook Farm French Vanilla yogurt, but after 2 bites, my body said, "STOP!"..& YES, I listened!!! woohoo!
So now, Hannah's eating it, & I'm just goona have my berries straight!
I knew going into this I wasn't going to 100% raw every day (the goal is MOST days!), for example, if I don't have the ingredients for salad dressing I may use a little regular (healthy as possible) stuff Hannah uses, {but really watered down}...& chick peas! Gotta have 'em once in awhile still...& the cocoa powder I use isn't raw.
I just can't afford EVERYTHING raw, & not sure I can do this without SOME chocolate treats once in awhile! {If you only knew how much chocolate I USED to eat!!!}
Anyways, keep Shannon in your prayers this weekend, it could be a life-changing one for her! & pray she stays raw!!! :oD

We can both do this with God!

Hi!
Of course I remember you, & of course you can link my blog!
It's harder (yest somehow easier!} when He calls you to do this for LIFE, but I keep hearing the verse, "Choose you this day who you're going to serve..." I've served my belly long enough! It's time to glorify God in our bodies, & yeild our appetites up to Him, eating the things He created for food, & no longer the life-destroying imitations the world has come up with!)
I'll come check out your blog again, been meaning to come visit all my raw-bloggin-friends for ages, just now getting back into a morning routine of blogging, RFT, & things that edify! (Prayer, Word, smoothies!)
