~Mono meals~

Been reading/learning about mono eating, & I guess that's influenced me, I woke up this morning really wanting apples, & over the next 2 hours or so, that's all i wanted, so i ate 5! It actually felt really, really good in my body, & only stopped cuz i was almost out of them, & want to have some for tomorrow, so next time i was hungry, i had a few banana's~ actually didn't miss my usual breakfast smoothie...
And last night, I was really craving crunch, & salt, & in my determination to stay raw, ended up eating at least 5 big stalks of celery! & it TOTALLY took away the craving! Woohoo, I think I'm finally getting the hang of this!
Choosing to eat only when hungry, then asking myself what I'm wanting, then eating slower, without distractions, & praying attention to how my body's responding has been really helpful to get free of emotional eating...
...I'm realizing that, when i crave heavy things, (like the pizza the other night) I'm not feeling full...I've eaten, yet not been satisfied, not quite hungry, but wanting/needing something else...
...i suspect that my body is telling me to consume more also because I'm not necessarily getting everything i need from the raw diet I've been consuming, similar to what many experience when eating the SAD diet, & the ongoing hunger from malnourishment...I plan on continuing to refine it, & will start using fitday again, once i get more groceries...
...& I've dropped 3 of those pizza/salt pounds so far...*grin*...

Celery is good when you’re not eating any salt. I think the muscle spasms in my legs went away when I started putting celery in my smoothies. But it just may have been a coincidence. I’m not willing to do what it would take to test that theory. (Smile) Best wishes to you my good friend Anastazia.
