Drumroll, please!

Ok, I weighed in again, (been avoiding the scale lately, have ya noticed?) & I'm down to 376, so 3 more lbs have been shed! (Highest weight, 398, last weigh-in, 379.)
Slowly but surely, I'm finally movin' in the right direction again...getting enough sleep would sure help it speed up...again last night, couldn't sleep til 5 am, up at 7:45, back to bed at 10 until noon...not good...

When I eat as much produce as I want, so quickly, everything in my body starts to co-operate again...I'd even been experiencing some more MS symptoms, (numbness in legs, some dizziness, aching eyes, etc.) & after just a few days of lots more Raw than before, it's all abated! (Last time it took weeks to pass!)
Off to make a smoothie for Hannah's home-from-school snack, I sent her with mostly produce today (& a bran muffin, *sigh*) so I know she's gonna come home hungry! (She's gotten used to more dense foods...) & today, when she's done her homework, we're going to look at raw recipes together & make a shopping list of what she'd like to bring to school...can't wait!

Get some tahini and some carob and some honey to make halvah truffles. High in calcium and protein and very yummy! Roll em' in balls and then in coconut and stick in the fridge.

Oh comeon, ya know ya wanna try it...

Great to hear you're planning for success!

My kids love dates in their lunches. It's a special treat and so simple, cuz all ya gotta do is put dates in a container. LOL!

Howdy, everyone! Thanks for the encouragement, ideas, & the recipe, Shannon!
I'd love to put dates in her lunch, but she has such a tendancy towards cavities, & doesn't always brush her teeth at school, so I save the sticky sweets for at home, but we both LOVE dates, thanks for reminding me, I haven't brought any home for awhile!
Thanks, Anita, for the encouragement, sometimes I feel I haven't come very far (& even go backwards sometimes, Lol!) cuz of how slow the weight has been to come off, but overall, it's the pressing on that seems to make a big difference, in the long run~
I'll be praying for your success on your journey with Raw, do you have a blog? I tried to click on your name, but couldn't access one! I hope you'll write about what it's like for you, & keep us informed of the changes that come!
