Perseverance!!!!
My word for this first week back to RAW! I'm feeling more alive by the day, & inspired by so many others that have gone before! I've been reading lotsa great raw blogs lately, I wish my computer was working properly so I could post links to them!
{Hopefully the glitches'll be fixed soon!}
Stayed up too late last night, feel it today, & regret it! I'm starting to really prefer going to bed & getting up early! (Just can't do it when I'm not eating Raw!) I'm going to move my body MORE today, so I can "earn my sleep!"
I read once about how, in the past, people earned their sleep & calories, by living actively, walking everywhere, working physically through the day, up with the sun, down shortly after dawn...& that it was a big factor in why there were few obesity or sleep problems back then!
Now I'm really concious, at the end of the day, (especially if I'm tired but having a hard time getting to sleep!) of how my living that day is affecting my overall daily health~
~& as I'm eating, I ask myself if I've earned the calories I'm taking in...{...when I've had a really inactive day, that'll often get me moving...or eating less!}
I wish, so much, that we could live on a little piece of land, with a garden, a well, & plenty of things to do outdoors in the sunshine! One day...
In the meantime, because I never got out for church or running errands yesterday, & won't until tomorrow, I'm determined to go for a walk today! Or maybe even 2!
& gently ease back into my hour of exercise throughout the day! I CAN'T WEIGHT until FM no longer slows me down!!!
I invented a great recipe last night for "Raw Chocolate Coconut Cake Mix!" That's really what it tasted like, especially at room temperature!!!
I didn't measure (never do!) but here it is:
~Few big tablespoons of Raw Organic tahini
~at least one tablespoon of raw coconut oil
~raw cocoa powder to taste {at least 2 tablespoons!}
~Raw agave nectar to sweeten
The plan is to roll them into balls rolled into nuts, & refridgerate, then eat!
{I'm not sure if it'll last that long, though! I'm fighting the urge to have 'em for breakfast, still have smoothie left from yesterday waiting to be finished!}
Have a yummy, healthy, sweet day, everyone!
