Berry nice!!!
Hannah & I have been going bonkers for blueberries lately! we have a bunch of frozen organic blueberries in the freezer, & suddenly, it seems to be all we want! Our favorite way is to pour a little rice milk (yea, i know it's not raw!) over them, & let 'em sit a minute, the milk freezes to the berries, & it's kinda like blueberriy ice cream...only better!!! Last night, I'd steamed some veggies for Hannah's dinner, then she was hungry again an hour later, so she decided to cut up some more purple cabbage to steam, (it's been freezing in our apartment, even with the heat cranked full blast, so she hasn't wanted cold food!) but started munching on it raw, & was amazed at how much better it tasted! She ate about 3/4's of a cabbage, & a bunch of broccoli, all by herself! Then, (after all her resistance!) she asked if she go go 100% raw, too! We both noticed again how much more energy we got from our food when it's raw, & how much better we digest! (Even cabbage & broccoli !) So, we're BOTH doing it now...which makes it much easier! I haven't wanted to force her, but make her prepare her own cooked food when she's wanted it, for the most part...(I know, I'm so mean! But she loves to cook, & needs to learn how anyways, so I talk her through it, without handling the food myself!) I've been going back & forth the last while, 100% some days, 50% raw others, not liking how that feels...am back to 100% today, & am determinded to stay that way! (Prayin' for the fruit of the Spirit of self-control!) And no, my exercise area still isn't cleared......hopefully by today! I've had soooo much leg pain lately, every time I'm standing, I need to sit soon...it's a vicious circle...the more I sit, the more I need to sit...the more I'm on my feet, trying to rebuild my strength, the more I hurt...
...I know gentle exercise is a key to what will turn things around....so I'll get it cleared today, even if that's ALL I get done!!!
